Day 1 : Arrival - Siem Reap
On arrival at Siem Riep Airport, you are met by our guide and transferred to hotel. The tranquil Siem Reap Town is our base for visiting the world famous temples of the ancient city Angkor, which was the capital of the powerful Khmer Empire from 802 AD to 1350 AD. If time permits, after arrival, we climb the Bakheng Hill to view a spectacular sunset. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2 : Siem Reap – Angkor Thom. (Hiking & Elephant riding & cycling of 12km)

Today, in the morning, we visit Angkor Wat temple – one of the largest religious monument of the world. We marvel around the temple seeing the bas-reliefs and carving depicting the different stories of the Hindu God and Hindu deities. We hike inside the forest surrounding the temple till we arrive at the main gate on the western side. We then get on the elephant and take a short riding on the elephant from the Angkor Wat temple to the Bayon temple through a nice road flanked with huge trees along the way. Stop at the south gate of Angkor Thom to take some photos and then we get on the bicycle and start cycling on the 4-meters high wall of Angkor Thom for about 5 km on a small passage way until we arrive at the main temple of Bayon. Then we climb the Bayon temple touring around this massive monument with many towers carved with faces and the bas-relief depicting the daily life of the Angkor era and so on. We visit also the Elephant terrace and the Leper king terraces. Overnight in Siem Reap. (B)

Day 3 : Cycling from East Gate of Angkor Thom – Ta Prohm temple (10 km of cycling)
We take a short drive and then arrive at the East Gate of Angkor Thom. Get on the bike and start pedaling through the forest of Angkor Thom crossing a small river and then passing through a small hidden and rarely seen temple, Prasat Tanei temple. We stop for some photos and then continue on to Ta Prohm temple. Ta Prohm is a very romantic temple. Its charm lies on the overgrown of the jungle over its tower and walls. It is nearly disappeared into the jungle. We park our bike and start marveling around this amazing temple. We have lunch at Srah Srang. After lunch we continue to Banteay Srei by car. Banteay Srei is a small temple but it is nearly everyone’s favorite site. Built dated back to the 9th century but its carvings and decoration are so impressive and it is considered to be the birth place of Khmer art. Return back to Siem Reap. Overnight in Siem Reap. (B)

Day 4 : Siem Reap - Tonle Sap Lake - Siem Reap
The temple exploration is not only activity in Siem Reap. We enjoy the Ox-cart ride passing through the local villages and rice paddies, seeing farmers planting their rice crops and then we arrive at the famous Tonle Sap Lake and we take a boat trip out. This shallow lake boats the largest natural fresh water body in Southeast Asia and flows into the Tonle Sap River which joins the Mekong River in Phnom Penh. Today we cycle on a rugged road along the Siem Reap River to Tonle Sap Lake. On arrival we enjoy a short boat excursion, exploring this famous lake. The experience is wonderful as we pass by floating village, friendly children in small boats and fishermen pulling in morning catch. This excursion is all depending on your departure time. The trip ends after your transfer to Siem Reap Airport for departure. (B)
