Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival:
Welcome to Siem Reap, gateway to the Temples of Angkor. Enjoy the day at your leisure to explore this charming provincial town. Shop for local handicrafts at the open-air markets, visit the peaceful Buddhist temples, or enjoy watching the street life from the balcony of a coffee shop. Overnight in Siem Reap. Includes: 

Day 2: Siem Reap - Phnom Box Camp
Depart Siem Reap on foot as you head out to the Rolous group, a set of 8th and 9th century brick temples. Continue your trek to Wat Lohok and onwards through small rural villages and over sand paths to our final destination of the day; Phnom Bok Camp. Take some time to catch your breath before climbing the 640 steps to the top of Phnom Bok for magnificent views over the plains below. (Trek approximately 30km) Overnight in tented camp. Includes: (B)

Day 3: Phnom Bok - Phnom Bok - Banteay Srey - Wat Lor
After breakfast at camp we depart for Banteay Srey, the best preserved temple in Cambodia. This petite, pink sandstone temple features stunning bass relief and other intricate stone carvings. Continue trekking through the countryside to Wat Lor, the campsite for the evening. As you relax and prepare for dinner, interact with the friendly locals who are always excited to meet visitors! (Trek approximately 30km) Overnight in tented camp. Includes: (B)

Day 4: Wat Lor Camp - Angkor - Siem Reap
A short drive takes you to the starting point of your trek through the temples of Angkor. Walking from temple to temple is a unique way to see these magnificent ruins: glimpses of small temples can be spotted amongst dense jungle, towers appear looming overhead, and the sheer number of ruins along the way is staggering. Visit the main temples of Angkor Wat, Ta Phrom, and Bayon along with many smaller ones that entice you in to explore along the way. Overnight in Siem Reap. Includes: (B)

Day 5: Siem Reap - Departure
After breakfast you are free to explore the town of Siem Reap until your transfer to the airport for your onward flight. We wish you a great flight back home (B).

Today, in the morning, we visit Angkor Wat temple – one of the largest religious monument of the world. We marvel around the temple seeing the bas-reliefs and carving depicting the different stories of the Hindu God and Hindu deities. We hike inside the forest surrounding the temple till we arrive at the main gate on the western side. We then get on the elephant and take a short riding on the elephant from the Angkor Wat temple to the Bayon temple through a nice road flanked with huge trees along the way...

After breakfast, we’ll be picked up at the hotel and transferred to Phnom Kulen National Park for our trek. We start at the base of Mount Kulen, first ascending stairs to a breathtaking panoramic lookout point. We then continue our trek to visit the riverbed carvings in the “Valley of 1000 Lingas” (dedicated to the God Shiva) along the Stung Kbal Spean River.

We journey northeast from Siem Reap to the massive jungle temple of Beng Mealea, the size and scale of Angkor Wat but utterly swallowed by the jungle. We climb and explore this titanic of temples and feel just like the first explorer to the ancient site. We continue to Koh Ker, a 10th century capital abandoned in the remote north of Cambodia for more than a thousand years.

After breakfast we pack up and then continue by trekking on foot to the grand reclining Buddha and then continue on our trekking deep into the jungle of the Kulen mountain. Visit 3 hidden temples in the jungle where few tourists could have been here and we see also the bat cave. Overnight in tent around the hidden jungle temple.

Travel from Banlung by car to a small tribal village 30 minutes away, then begin trekking into the jungle, crossing a few small streams and hills. Reach a jungle campsite by a scenic creek with rapids and a cascading waterfall in the late afternoon and enjoy a swim in the clear water before an evening by the campfire...

Travel north by car and then by boat to a remote site on the Mekong where we will disembark and begin hiking through thick jungle to a wide rocky expanse where the Mekong drops in a spectacular waterfall over a rocky ledge. After listening to the roar of the powerful river and exploring the numerous drops, we will have lunch and then begin trekking through pristine old growth forests as we ascend a mountain with a great view over the river valley
